Agronomic Features
Carlingford consistently gives significantly higher yields of even sized tubers compared with Maris Peer that is grown in the same way. Carlingford has the further advantage of far superior resistance to common scab, PVY and skin spot. Carlingford has good ability to initiate tubers even at low light levels. Carlingford produces good tuber numbers even under polythene with little or no reduction in tuber numbers. Carlingford is most suitable for early salad production.
