Consumer Quality

Produces high yields of red round to oval tubers which prove very attractive to consumers both in the UK and overseas especially in Mediterranean and North African countries. With good dry matters, this variety eats very well and fries well resulting in a good all round variety suited to many different styles of cooking.

Agronomic Features

Early trials have shown that Rubesse performs exceptionally well in hotter climates. Rubesse is “double skinned”, which means the tubers do not lose any of the attractive colour, even when washed for the pre-pack market.
